Adding Youtube Media to My Media

Resolution

Notes:

  • YouTube videos are passed through to your My Media library but continue to reside on YouTube.
  • YouTube videos can be captioned on the MiVideo service.
  • Be aware if you are not the YouTube video owner, the owner may edit or delete the video and you will not be notified.
    • If the video is deleted, MiVideo will display an error message in the player because it will no longer be able to access the video on YouTube.
    • If the video is edited, MiVideo captions for the video may become inaccurate.
  • Currently we are not able to order EAD (extended audio description) for YouTube passthrough videos on MiVideo.
