How to create a Media Gallery, personal, or channel playlist . Once a playlist is created media can be added for viewing in the player.

Resolution

Create a Media Gallery Playlist (Canvas only)

Create a Media Gallery playlist that is publicly shared to everyone within a Canvas course. Teachers, TAs, and Designers can create Media Gallery playlists. See related Media Gallery articles for more information about using this tool.

1. Canvas: Media Gallery > Channel Actions  > Create channel playlist
2. Enter a Title, Description, and add Tags
3. Click Create
4. You are redirected to the Edit Playlist Details page, see the Add Media to Playlist article.

Create a Personal Playlist in My Playlists (MiVideo Mediaspace only)​​​​

Create a personal playlist that can be shared but not published on MiVideo Mediaspaces

1. MiVideo Mediaspace: user drop-down menu > My Playlists > Create Playlist
2. Enter a Title, Description, and add Tags
3. Click Create
4. You are redirected to the Edit Playlist Details page, see the Add Media to Playlist article.

Create a Channel Playlist (MiVideo Mediaspace only)

Create a channel playlist that is publicly shared on MiVideo Mediaspaces. Only Managers can create a channel playlist. See related Channel articles for more information about these collections.

1. MiVideo Mediaspace: user drop-down menu > My Channels > edit pencil icon > Playlists tab > Create Channel Playlist
2. Enter a Title, Description, and add Tags
3. Click Add
4. You are redirected to the Edit Playlist Details page, see the Add Media to Playlist article.
