My Media is the location for managing your video, audio, and image files in Canvas and MiVideo Mediaspace. See related My Media articles for more information about using your media library.

Filter and Sort My Media

Resolution

Canvas

  1. Navigate to Account > My Media.  
  2. Search and filter:
    • Search returns results from all titles, and descriptions.
    • Use the filters at the top of the page to refine the results.
      • Filter based on published status, media type, and ownership.
      • If you are looking for a specific keyword, place it between double quotes.
      • Combine filters and search terms to quickly find your media.
      • Click More Filters for even more filtering options.
    • Sort By search results based on relevance, date, alphabetically, and other fields.
    • When you have a lot of media, click the Collapsed view icon to toggle the display. Click the Detailed view icon to return to the default thumbnail display.
    • Click the Table view icon to view all results as a table.
    • Check the boxes to the left of the video thumbnails (or titles in collapsed view) and then use the Actions drop-down list to perform batch operations.
    • Media that has not been published will be labeled “Private” in the thumbnail. See the Publish Media in Canvas article for more information about statuses.

  1. Navigate to user drop-down menu > My Media.
  2. Search and filter:
    • Search returns results from all titles, tags, descriptions, and custom metadata.
    • Use the filters at the top of the page to refine the results.
      • Filter based on published status, media type, and ownership.
      • If you are looking for a specific keyword, place it between double quotes.
      • Combine filters and search terms to quickly find your media.
      • Click More Filters for even more filtering options.
    • Sort By search results based on relevance, date, alphabetically, and other fields.
