Google: Attach Zoom Meeting to Appointment Schedules in Calendar

Issue

I want to attach a Zoom meeting link to my Google appointment schedule bookings before someone books one. Can I do this?

Resolution

  • You do not have the ability to attach Zoom meeting links prior to a booking being scheduled with appointment schedules.
    • This includes via the Zoom for Google Workspace add-on and Zoom Chrome extension - neither will help you add one before an appointment is booked.
  • You will need to add the Zoom meeting link to the appointment after it has been booked and added to the calendar.
  • However, you can add a Google Meet session link to the appointment before it's scheduled.

Additional Information

This also applies to Microsoft Teams meetings using the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-on.
