Issue
Information on how folder settings and permissions work in U-M Dropbox.
Resolution

Note: The shared folder icon will only display for subfolders if there are additional users shared on the folder beyond the ones whose permissions cascade from the parent folder. Otherwise, the folder icon will be plain, with no image.
