Environment
Google Calendar, Zoom meeting, Schedule Display, Zoom Room
Issue
You have scheduled a meeting and do not want the title to appear on a schedule display or Zoom Room display.
Resolution
When scheduling a meeting on your Google calendar:
- Create a new meeting/appointment
- In the lower right hand side of the window that pops up, click on More options
- Add all the relevant information and details you typically add, title, notes, guests, etc.
- In the middle of this window there is an icon that looks like a suitcase, next to that are two drop down menus
- The dropdowns usually say Busy and Default visibility
- Click on the drop down menu that contains the words Default visibility
- Select Private
- When you have finished with the rest of your invitation, click the save button in the top right corner
- Now the meeting name will show on your calendar but it will show as '(Your name)'s Meeting' on any calendar you have invited to this meeting
