Information on Google shared drive permissions and sharing
Resolution
Refer to Shared Drives in U-M Google for information on permissions and sharing in shared drives.
All members (at the shared drive level) have access to the same set of files and folders, regardless of their assigned role. It is possible to share at the file and folder levels with someone not in your shared drive for more granular permissions.
