Resolution

The Attachments tab on the Edit Media page provides a way to attach files to the media entry so that viewers can download them from the Attachments tab found under the media player on the Media page or on the Playlist Playback page.

Notes

  • To edit a media entry you have to be the media owner or co-editor of the content. See the Media Collaboration and Roles article for information about ownership.
  • The editing tabs may vary depending on your role.
  • To edit the media file (trim, chop, splice, copy, and add hotspots and Interactive Video Quizzes) see the Video Editor articles.

In the Attachments tab you can use the icons next to each file to manage that file.

  • "X" icon: Delete the file. This cannot be undone.
  • Down arrow icon: Download the file.

Additional Information

MiVideo doesn't have a file size limit but larger files take longer to upload and process. Recommendation is to keep file sizes under 2 GB.

Do not use a video as an attachment. Videos should be separate media entries. Consider using playlists to group related videos together instead.
