Virtual Private Network (VPN) / Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client


Need a specific network address for access to U-M resources.


  1. Connect to
  2. Click on your Operating System from the list
    1. Cisco AnyConnect does not support Linux ARM. OpenConnect (third party client) may be used as an alternative (contact the ITS Service Center if you need assistance)
  3. Download the software for your device
    1. Select the appropriate option based on your University role 
    2. Note that you will need to be on the device where you plan to install the software  
  4. Complete any recommended installation steps for the device you specify

Be sure to turn on the VPN before connecting to the services that need it.
