Zoom: Alert to Reauthorize Calendar Add-On/Integration for Google/Outlook

Environment

Zoom, Zoom for Google Workspace add-on, Microsoft Outlook Zoom integration

Issue

I have Zoom integrated with my calendar (Google or Outlook), but I needed to reauthorize syncing to schedule Zoom meetings on the calendar. How can I get notified when reauthorization is needed in the future?

Resolution

You can toggle a setting in your U-M Zoom account to receive an email from Zoom when reauthorization is required for your calendar add-on/integration.

To toggle this setting:

  1. Go to U-M Zoom.
  2. Click Sign in and log in with U-M Sign In if prompted.
  3. Click Settings from the left navigation.
  4. Click the Mail & Calendar tab at the top.
  5. Click the Authentication expiry email alerts setting to toggle it on and off. (The toggle will turn blue when enabled.)

Emails will be sent automatically via Zoom when the calendar add-on/integration token expires.
