Google: Turn Conversation View On/Off in Gmail

Issue

How do I turn on/off "Conversation view" in my Gmail settings? (i.e., email threading/grouping)

Resolution

  1. Go to U-M Google Mail (Gmail).
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right to open the Quick settings menu.
  3. Scroll to the bottom under "Email threading" and uncheck the Conversation view box.
