This service connects you with an HR Representative who will help assist in many areas of Career development internally here at the university of Michigan-Flint. This service can include the following elements:
1. Career interest and goals
2. Updating career tools: resume, cover letters

Flint HR - Department Learning and Training

UM-Flint's Human Resources Department can help units plan staff and faculty leadership, professional and career development.  We can offer development in several areas including communication, giving & receiving feedback, coaching, conflict resolution, HR processes and more.  We meet our organization's needs in the most practical, cost-efficient and innovative manner possible. Training may be offered as online / on-demand, live virtual, live in-person or other delivery methods.

Search Advisory Committee Training

This training focuses on training the chairpersons on the Search Advisory Committee to help them assist the members through the recruiting process once the position has been posted. This training will provide resources materials as well as concepts to guide them through the selection process.
