Flint-HR Name Tag Request

Name tags are worn by members of the university to enhance the interaction between our members and our community.

New employees and/or employees with a name or department change will receive one name tag (free of charge).

Replacement policy - Faculty/Staff who lose their name tag will be responsible for the replacement cost of ($9), unless the department is paying for the replacement.

Magnet or clip/pin - Security issues and concerns about damage to clothing have been addressed by providing a choice of tag styles. Wearers have the option of a magnet or clip/pin to secure the name tag. Note: Do not leave magnetic-backed name tags near your computer, data storage device, or other sensitive electronics.

Name tag requests must be made by a staff member of the department that is sponsoring the student organization for continuity purposes. 

Our current policy is that the prefix title of "Dr." is reserved for medical professionals. Those with Ph.D.'s and Ed.D.'s will have their degree listed in the credentials section of the name tag but will not have the prefix title of "Dr." before their name.
