Issue
My name is incorrect in U-M Dropbox. How can I correct it?
Resolution
Your name in U-M Dropbox is set to the name displayed on your MCommunity profile when you first log in to U-M Dropbox. The name will not update automatically after legal name changes nor after setting a Preferred Name. In these situations, you will need to manually change your name in U-M Dropbox per the instructions below:
- Log in to U-M Dropbox.
- Click your icon/initials in the top right corner and select Settings.
- Click Edit to the right of your name (under the General tab).
- Change your name as needed and click Change name.
