Issue
Can I use Zoom Events? Can I charge for a virtual event that uses Zoom?
Resolution
Zoom Events is an additional platform offered by Zoom for large-scale virtual events and conferences. Zoom Events is not a part of U-M Zoom and there are no plans to implement Zoom Events in the U-M Zoom environment. Users cannot purchase Zoom Events licenses for their individual use.
Additionally, there is not a method through U-M Zoom through which you can charge others to attend a virtual event. While there may be other means of achieving that goal, ITS would be unable to provide support for them.
