Issue

I'm a member of a U-M Slack workspace, and I would like to create a new channel.

Resolution

Follow the process documented in the Slack Help Center: https://slack.com/help/articles/201402297-Create-a-channel

Note: Workspace Admins can control who can create channels in their individual workspaces. If you can't create a channel in your workspace, you likely need to reach out to a Workspace Admin. Learn how to find the admins of a workspace.
