Issue

How many devices can I connect to my U-M Dropbox account?

Resolution

You can link up to five computers and five mobile devices (phone/tablet) per account.

• You cannot install it on ten computers or ten mobile devices. It is five computers and/or five mobile devices.
• An exception can be made with a request and a valid business case 
  • Requests for extensions can be sent to 4HELP@umich.edu

How can I tell how many devices I am using?

1. Log in to dropbox.umich.edu.
2. Click your avatar in the upper right and select Settings from the drop-down menu.
3. Click the Security tab.
4. You can find the devices connected to your account listed under Devices.
   • You can remove any devices you no longer need at any time.
