Remove media from a course Media Gallery in Canvas (Teacher, TAs, Instructional Designers only).

How to Remove Media From a Course Media Gallery

Resolution

You can remove media from the Media Gallery, however the media will stay in your My Media library. To delete the media completely, the media will need to be deleted from My Media. See the Delete Media from My Media article.

1. Canvas: Navigate to the course > Media Gallery > Media tab.
2. Mouse over the media item thumbnail and click the "triple dots".
3. Click the Remove from channel "x" icon on the thumbnail.
4. Click Remove to confirm.
