Managing TeamDynamix Desktops

Environment

TeamDynamix Ticketing applications

Issue

Desktops remain in a user's TDX account after a new version with the same name is pushed out to the user. Users can also modify and delete Desktops that have been pushed to them.

Resolution

Change your Desktop

1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > Desktop tab in the top menu
2. Use the drop-down menu the upper-right corner of the desktop to see a list of desktops and select one to view

Set your default Desktop

1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > Desktop tab in the top menu
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right
3. Click the Set  to the right of a desktop's name 

Set a Desktop to Auto Refresh

1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > Desktop tab in the top menu
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right
3. In the Manage Desktops list that appears, click the Desktop you want to auto refresh
4. Click the Details Tab
5. Click the "Enable Auto Refresh" box
6. The refresh period is 5 minutes. Can view by hovering over the refresh icon, displays in seconds.

Remove Desktop(s)

1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > Desktop tab in the top menu
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right
3. In the Manage Desktops list that appears, click the Delete button to the right of a desktop's name

Determine which is the most recent version of a desktop with the same name

1. Click the Desktop tab
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right
3. In the Manage Desktops list that appears, view the Created date and time, sort as needed
