Managing TeamDynamix Dashboards

Environment

TeamDynamix Ticketing applications

Issue

Dashboards (formerly Desktops) remain in a user's TDX account after a new version with the same name is pushed out to the user. Users can also modify and delete Dashboards that have been pushed to them.

Resolution

Change your Dashboard

  1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > House icon tab in the top menu.
  2. Click on the down arrow next to the name of the current Dashboard in the upper left see a list and select one to view.

Set your default Dashboard

  1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > House icon tab in the top menu.
  2. Click the gear icon/ Manage Dashboards in the upper right.
  3. Click the Set to the right of a dashboard's name. 

Set a Dashboard to Auto Refresh

  1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > House icon tab in the top menu.
  2. Click the gear icon/ Manage Dashboards in the upper right.
  3. In the Manage Desktops list that appears, click the Dashboard you want to auto refresh.
  4. Click the Details Tab.
  5. Click the "Enable Auto Refresh" box.
  6. The refresh period is 5 minutes. Can view by hovering over the refresh icon, displays in seconds.

Remove Dashboard(s)

  1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > House icon tab in the top menu.
  2. Click the gear icon/ Manage Dashboards in the upper right.
  3. In the Manage Dashboards list that appears, click the Delete button to the right of a dashboard's name.

Determine which is the most recent version of a dashboard with the same name

  1. TeamDynamix.umich.edu > Users > House icon tab in the top menu.
  2. Click the gear icon/ Manage Dashboards in the upper right.
  3. In the Manage Dashboards list that appears, view the Created Date and Time, sort as needed.
