Kaltura MiVideo Express Capture Error in Safari

Issue

Safari users working with Express Capture see an error "Your browser doesn't support this tool. Try again with a current version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari."

Resolution

Express Capture is only supported for the latest 2 versions of Safari.

Possible solutions:

• Upgrade your Mac for a newer version of Safari.
• Use Firefox or Chrome on Mac.
• Download and install the Kaltura Capture software application and record with that instead. See the Upload Media Using Kaltura Capture article to learn how to install and use this application. Note: you'll need at least MacOS 10.14 installed for this application.
• QuickTime player provides a screen recorder.
