MiVideo: Canvas Media Gallery Video File Upload Delay

Ensuring Media Gallery video files were uploaded successfully

Resolution

• When uploading directly to the Media Gallery, the delay between uploading & publishing is expected and normal, due to Kaltura converting the video file.
• The larger the video file, the longer it can take for it to be processed on the server.
• Once the video is uploaded and before it becomes available in the Media Gallery you can view the status of the upload in your My Media.
  1. Navigate to Account > My Media > click the video name.
  2. The Media page will display with a message "Media is being processed" until processing is complete.
