Change Default Timezone in Zoom

Environment

University of Michigan Zoom & Zoom Phone users

Issue

When I try to schedule a meeting in Zoom or set my default time zone, it is incorrect.
Business hours or closed hours for Zoom Phone may not function as intended if the time zone is incorrect.

Resolution

The default time zone for all Zoom users is Pacific Time.  This is for all Zoom meeting & Zoom Phone softphone-only users.

Zoom deskphones are set to a default time of Eastern Standard Time.

Please follow this process to set your appropriate time zone:

  1. Go to zoom.umich.edu
  2. Log in
  3. Click the Profile button on the left of the screen
  4. Scroll down to the time zone info
  5. Click on the Edit button next to that section
  6. Update your time zone
  7. Click Save Changes
