Resolution

Important: To convert a meeting into a webinar, you must have a Zoom webinar license assigned to your U-M Zoom account. 

Convert a meeting into a webinar

  1. Go to U-M Zoom on the web and click Sign in.
  2. Click Meetings from the left navigation.
  3. Find the meeting under Upcoming and click on its title.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Convert this Meeting to a Webinar.
  5. Click Convert to confirm.

Convert a webinar into a meeting

  1. Go to U-M Zoom on the web and click Sign in.
  2. Click Webinars from the left navigation.
  3. Find the webinar under Upcoming and click on its title.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Convert this Webinar to a Meeting.
  5. Click Convert to confirm.

Additional Information

If you created a Zoom meeting link and sent it to the participants before you were granted Zoom webinar access, the link will still work when the meeting is converted to a webinar. The same applies to webinars converted to meetings.
