How do I convert a Zoom Meeting to a Zoom Webinar? How can I convert a Webinar into a Meeting?

Note: Creating Zoom Webinars requires a Webinar license, which can be requested here.

Converting a Meeting into a Webinar

1. Go to https://umich.zoom.us/meeting#/upcoming
2. Find the meeting and click on the title of the meeting.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. To the right of the Start and Edit buttons, click "Convert this Meeting to a Webinar"
5. Confirm that you want to convert this meeting to a webinar by clicking "Convert"

Converting a Webinar into a Meeting

1. Go to https://umich.zoom.us/webinar/list#/upcoming
2. Find the webinar and click on the title of the webinar.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. To the right of the Start and Edit buttons, click "Convert this Webinar to a Meeting"
5. Confirm that you want to convert this webinar to a meeting by clicking "Convert"

Additional Information

If you created a Zoom meeting link and sent to the participants before you were granted Zoom webinar access, the link will still work when the meeting is converted to a webinar. The same applies to webinars converted to meetings.
