Issue
Clearing potentially corrupted cache, cookies, or other temporary internet files from the Internet Explorer browser
Resolution
On June 15, 2022, Internet Explorer 11 was retired and is officially out of support. It is encouraged that you use Microsoft Edge instead.
If you have multiple Internet Explorer windows or tabs open, close all but one.
- Click the gear icon in the upper right corner to get to the Tools menu
- Choose Internet Options
- Go to the Browsing History section of the General tab and click the Delete ... button
- Check the boxes for Preserve Favorites website data, Temporary Internet files, Cookies and Website Data, and Download History
- Click Delete
NOTE: It can take a few minutes to clear the cache depending on how long it has been accumulating.
- Click OK
- Restart your computer
