Does Slack at U-M have unlimited message history?

Resolution

  • By default, Slack will retain all messages and files for the lifetime of your workspace
    • These messages and files will be visible and searchable by workspace users
  • Note this information is not applicable for free Slack workspaces that have been created outside of the U-M license
