eRRM: Unable to Edit Sections 1-1.1, 5-3, or 12 in eResearch Regulatory Management

Environment

eResearch Regulatory Management (eRRM)

Issue

Attempting to edit sections 1-1.1, 5-3, or 12 may not be working.

Resolution

Exempt applications created prior to release 4.3 (June 10, 2018) will have sections 1-1, 5-3, and section 12 locked down to read-only status for everyone, regardless of their edit access to this study.

New regulations and definitions to the Exempt Categories were introduced with release 4.3 that render the old exempt research categories obsolete. All studies determined to be "Exempt" by the IRB prior to this release will continue to be valid and research may continue under these studies. However, studies created prior to June 10, 2018 that are incomplete or require changes to Sections 1-1.1, 5-3 or applicable Section 12 questions should be withdrawn and a new study should be created and submitted.

For any questions, please contact IRB.
