U-M Offboarding, Standard Computing Services, Accounts for People Who Leave U-M, Student Access
Issue
When exactly does a student lose access to some Standard Computing Services after leaving U-M?
Resolution
The exact timing when students lose access to these services depends on when the student's U-M affiliation changes. The timing of this change is different for each school or college. For specific information on when the student affiliation will change, contact your school or college’s registrar.
The timing of this change is different every semester, but generally, April graduates lose access the first week of June, August graduates lose access the first week of September, and December graduates lose access in early January.
Specific information can be found here: ITS Information for Graduating Students.
Note: For more information on the exact timelines for Google services, refer to Google: Accounts for People Who Leave U-M.
Additional Information
Students who leave without completing at least one semester/term follow a different offboarding process for non-affiliated accounts.
