Issue

How does sharing with external (non-UM) users work in Dropbox Team Folders?

Resolution

Refer to Team Folders in U-M Dropbox: External users for more information on sharing Team Folders with non-UM users.

Key things to note:

• Team Folders cannot be shared with an external (non-UM) user via the managing MCommunity group at the parent level.
  • External users must be added individually to any subfolders or files within the Team Folder instead.
