What happens to my U-M Dropbox account when I leave the University of Michigan?

Resolution

U-M Dropbox is provided to active faculty, staff, students, and Type-1 sponsored affiliates. Please refer to the following webpage for additional information https://documentation.its.umich.edu/node/2065.

Alumni, retirees, faculty and staff who quit (no retirement), students who do not complete their first term (no alum status), and sponsored affiliates lose their access immediately after the change in active affiliation.

Additional Information

• U-M Dropbox accounts remain intact for emeritus/emerita faculty who retain all standard computing services. For details, see 19.K Emeritus/Emerita Status in the U-M Faculty Handbook.
• Switching to Google Drive from Dropbox
• Upload files to Google Drive on the web
