Dropbox Individual, Team, and Shared Folder Storage Limitations

Issue

Dropbox storage limits for individual accounts, Team Folders, and shared folders.

Resolution

• Individual account storage limits are 5TB.
• Shared folders are owned by the individual and count towards their storage total (i.e., 5TB storage limit for individuals).
• Team Folders are owned by the organization and do not count towards an individual's storage total (currently no storage limit for Team Folders).
  • Complete the Dropbox Team Folders Request Form 
  • Only MCommunity group OWNERS will be able to request a Team Folder.
