Dropbox: Individual, Team, and Shared Folder Storage Limits

Issue

What are the U-M Dropbox storage limits for individual accounts, Team Folders, and shared folders?

Resolution

  • Individual accounts have a 5TB storage limit.
  • Shared folders are owned by an individual and count towards their storage total (i.e., 5TB storage limit for individuals).
  • Team Folders are owned by a group/team rather than an individual and do not count towards an individual's storage total. There is currently no storage limit for Team Folders.
