Issue

Blocking third-party cookies can interfere with the functions of U-M websites and services, and can prevent your sign-ins from being remembered.

Resolution

When choosing to allow third-party cookies, you have the option to approve them for all websites, or for specific websites. Here are some links to browser-specific documentation for managing cookies. Please click on the link corresponding to your default browser for more information.

Chrome

  • See instructions under Allow third-party cookies for a specific site
  • To allow for U-M websites only
    • Under "Sites Allowed to use third-party cookies" add: [*.]umich.edu
    • This allows third-party cookies for any websites in the U-M domain.
