Annoto: "Oops, we had trouble to authenticate the activity" Dashboard Message

Issue

Canvas sub-account admins and Canvas admins will see a "Oops, we had trouble to authenticate the activity" message when accessing the Annoto Dashboard from the course left navigation. This occurs when the sub-account admin or admin are not enrolled in the course.

Resolution

The Annoto Dashboard can still be accessed through the Media Gallery.

Navigate to the course > Media Gallery > Channel Actions > Annoto Dashboard.

Additional Information

Annoto implemented this security measure to allow only enrolled users with the appropriate roles to access the Annoto course dashboard. It is part of Annoto's compliance with ISO27001 standards.
