Description of PC Mover and what is transferred by the PC Mover client
Resolution
PC Mover is the MiWorkspace tool that is used to transfer a customer's data from one MiWorkspace Windows machine to another MiWorkspace Windows machine. It should be used when a customer is getting a replacement/loaner machine or when getting a new device as part of Refresh.
Running the application in different contexts will move different sets of data.

FAQ
What if the size of the data to transfer is larger than the free disk space on the destination computer?
PC Mover will warn you if there is not enough room to transfer all data, though this warning can be dismissed. PC Mover will also try to keep at least 10 GB of free disk space on the destination computer to allow for optimal performance of the Windows operating system. MiWorkspace Windows Engineering does NOT recommend ignoring this warning and would instead recommend removing unneeded data from the transfer to allow for a successful transfer and OS operation.
What if the source and destination computers each have two disk drives?
If both computers have two disk drives, PC Mover should see both drives on each system and attempt to copy data to the new drive corresponding to the old. For example, if both computers have C:\ and D:\ drives, files from the old C:\ drive should be moved to the new C:\ drive, and files from the old D:\ drive should be moved to the new D:\ drive.
What if only the source computer has two disk drives, and the destination computer has one?
If only the old computer has two disk drives, and the new computer has only one, files from the old secondary drive will be moved to a folder at the root of the C: drive on the new computer with a name that corresponds to the old drive letter, for example, files from the D:\ drive on the old computer will be moved to 'C:\Drive_D' on the new computer.
