MiVideo: Where Is The Player Embed Option Without Transcript Widget In Canvas?

Issue

Beginning June 25, 2024 there will no longer be a separate option to embed the MiVideo player without transcript widget in Canvas

Resolution

All available embed players have the transcript plugin enabled.

To disable the transcript plugin and captions from displaying:

1. Navigate to the Edit Media page:
   • Canvas: Account > My Media > pencil icon next to the media item
     • or from the Media page, click Actions > Edit
2. Select the Captions tab
3. Next to the captions file click the "Don't show on player" icon (looks like a small video player)
