Can I assign people Google Tasks from within a Google Doc?
Unfortunately, the ability to assign a Google Task to someone from within a Google Doc is not available in U-M Google. (Education Fundamentals domains, like U-M Google, do not have access to this feature.
If you want to assign someone to a Google Task, we recommend creating a Google Chat space and using the shared tasks feature.
