U-M Google, Shared Accounts
Issue
You received an email on 9/5/23 about the mandatory password change for all U-M accounts. You want to know if this includes resetting your U-M Google Shared Account password(s).
Resolution
The mandatory password change for all U-M accounts does not apply to U-M Google Shared Accounts at this time. This means you do not need to reset the passwords for these accounts, only your individual U-M account associated with your uniqname.
If you would still like to proceed with resetting your U-M Google Shared Account password despite no requirement to, an owner of the associated MCommunity group can visit the Google at U-M Request Form and select Request a password reset for an existing Google Shared Account.
