MiVideo: Captioning Media From Third Party Applications

Can I use the MiVideo captioning service to caption media in third party applications?

Resolution

In general, (with the exception of YouTube), MiVideo cannot caption content in third party applications unless you download the media file and upload it to MiVideo.

Podcasts for example, may be downloadable and some offer captions natively. If you have a provider who offers neither option, it is recommended that you reach out to the podcast owner to see if they will supply the downloaded podcasts to you so you can use them in a course. It may help if you explain that they are being used for instructional purposes and need to be captioned to comply with accessibility requirements.
