The admin page is your main page within the cPanel web interface. You can use this page to access your files via the web, open phpMySQL to manage your MySQL database, install additional programs, and just about anything else you need related to your account.
LSA cPanel environment
Your admin page is available at http://name-of-your-site:2083 where name-of-your-site may be something like something.subdomain.lsa.umich.edu. To access this page you must be on a campus wired network or connected to the VPN; MWireless alone is insufficient. Instructions to access the VPN can be found here or you can email LSATechnologyServices@umich.edu.
Your login and password are given to you on creation of your account. If you forget your password you can click the "Reset Password" link under the login box:
You will be emailed a link to reset your password. If that does not work or you've forgotten both your username and password please send an email to LSATechnologyServices@umich.edu with your site name and your request to have your password reset.
The most common functions inside your admin page are File Manager, MySQL administration including phpMySQL, Softaculous Auto Installers, viewing access and error logs, and changing your password. You are free to explore the other options within the interface as well.
