Zoom Phone customers
Issue
How do I forward my Zoom Phone to an external number, or other options for Call Handling.
Resolution
- Sign in to the Zoom Portal.
- Click Phone on the left menu.
- Click on Settings on the menu across the top.
- Scroll down to Call Handling.
- Under the Business Hours section, Click Edit (to the right of Call Handling):
- Toggle ON Zoom Phone Appliance Apps to receive calls on a phone.
- NOTE: Leave Zoom Phone Appliance Apps toggled to the OFF setting and lowest priority if using Sequential ringing.
- Toggle ON Zoom Desktop Apps to receive calls on the desktop.
- Toggle ON Zoom Mobile Apps to receive calls on any mobile clients.
- Click Add Phone Number to add additional External numbers as desired.
- (Click the acknowledge box that appears and SAVE.)
- Uncheck "Require to press 1 before connecting the call".
- Click SAVE.
Choose Simultaneous ringing to ring all these options at once, if desired.
