Issue

How do I install an MPrint printer on a MiWorkspace, Izzy, or Windows as a Service device?

Resolution

1. Click on the MiWorkspace Helper App icon
   1. This is the block M in the system tray/menu bar
2. Select MPrint Printer Installer
3. This launches an application that allows you to search printer by room number/printer name. You can search for as many printers as you'd like to install. Once you've selected the desired printers, click the "Install Queues" button
   1. If you do not know the name of the printer you need, or you wish to look for printers near you, click the “Find Printers on Map” button to launch the MPrint Maps page
   2. Select a building and floor number
   3. Find the printer you need on the map and click the printer icon. Then click the Install Printer Button
4. Printer should now be installed and ready to use
   1. Installed printers should have a green check mark next to the queue name to indicate the queue was installed successfully

Note: You will need to be plugged in via Ethernet on campus, on MWireless, or using the U-M VPN from any other network to both install printers and also to print.
