Environment

• Regular and Clinical Instructional Faculty, Research Professors, Research Scientists, Librarians, Curators, and Archivists
• All three campuses and Michigan Medicine

Issue

Are emerita/emeritus faculty eligible for university software licenses?

Resolution

• Faculty with active appointments are generally eligible for software, subject to terms of use for the license
  • Faculty with human resources records indicating a current Institutional Role of FacultyAA, FacultyDBRN, or FacultyFLNT, are considered active faulty
  • Faculty with human resources records indicating Emerita/Emeritus status has been conferred are considered active faculty
• If there is a discrepancy with human resource records not indicating the expected status, individuals should consult their departmental HR representative
