My Canvas Course is not Listed in MiVideo My Media Publish Settings

Issue

I don't see my course listed as a gallery to publish to. How do I publish media to my course's Media Gallery? I see the option to publish to the Faculty Shared Repository, should I publish my media there instead?

Resolution

This occurs when you attempt to publish media from within My Media and MiVideo/Kaltura is unaware the Canvas course exists yet. 

Navigate to your course in Canvas and click the Media Gallery link in the left navigation. This will inform MiVideo/Kaltura the course exits and you can now publish media to this gallery. Alternatively, you can publish media to the Media Gallery right from within the gallery itself rather than from My Media. See the Add Media to a Course Media Gallery article.

The Faculty Shared Repository is a place to put media to share with other Media Galleries. This gallery is accessible by other Teachers, TAs, and Designers in Canvas. Media published here will not be available from the course Media Gallery and students will not be able to view it.
