Issue
A problem occurs when people order transcripts and make a payment for expedited shipping.
Resolution
- Individuals with "abandoned" transcript orders should contact the Registrar's Office at:
- 734-763-9066
- ro.transcript.order.questions@umich.edu
Additional Information
Tightened browser security settings cause problems when the payment system (NelNet) tries to send the purchaser back to MPathways.
The payment goes through and the person is charged, but the transcript order is set to Abandoned status.
There is text on the Transcript order page with instructions for payments, but folks are missing that advice on the page.
These issues must be resolved by the RO. ITS cannot correct billing or other issues for transcript orders.
