Issue

Enable the Roll Call/Attendance tool on a Canvas course

Resolution

Attendance can be enabled via Settings

1. Open the specific Canvas course in which the tool should be enabled
2. Click Settings in the left hand navigation
3. Click the Navigation tab
4. Scroll down to the bottom section and locate Attendance
5. Click the 3 dot icon to the right of this and select Enable
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save
