Update Direct Deposit

Issue

A student employee or staff person needs to update their direct deposit settings.

Resolution

Students

  1. Connect to Wolverine Access at https://wolverineaccess.umich.edu/
  2. Click Students (found in Campus Collections)
  3. Log into the Student Business link
  4. Choose the Payroll and Compensation tile
  5. Click on Direct Deposit
  6. Enter settings as appropriate

Staff

  1. Connect to Wolverine Access at https://wolverineaccess.umich.edu/
  2. Click the Faculty & Staff (found in Campus Collections)
  3. Click on Employee Self-Service
  4. Log in using uniqname and UMICH password
  5. Click on the Payroll and Compensation tile
  6. Click on Direct Deposit option
  7. Enter settings as appropriate

  • The student information will work for any student whether employed by the University or not.
  • Students with a campus job typically also have access to Employee Self Service through the Faculty & Staff tab. 
  • The Direct Deposit section can be accessed through Employee Self Service via "Payroll and Compensation."
