Issue
I need to manage my Firefox extensions but am unsure how to view, enable, disable, or remove them.
Resolution
You can get to the Firefox extensions management page by:
- Cutting and pasting the following into a Firefox browser: about:addons
- Clicking the puzzle piece icon in to top-right to open the add-ons menu, then select "Extensions" from the left.
- Or
- Open Firefox on your computer.
- At the top right, click the three horizontal lines to open the applications menu.
- Extensions and themes.
- Select "Extensions" from the left.
Disable an extension
- Click the toggle button to the right of the extension's name.
- This will leave the extensions installed, but will prevent it from running in Firefox.
Delete an extension
- Click the three-dot menu (i.e., ellipsis) to the right of the extension's name. click the three-dot menu (i.e., ellipsis) next to the extension's name and select "Remove."
- This will completely remove the extension in Firefox.
The "Manage" button in the three-dot menu (i.e., ellipsis) next to the extension's name will provide more information and settings specific to the extension.
