Improve Windows Hello Recognition on MiWorkspace Computers

Environment

MiWorkspace, Windows 11

Issue

My Windows Hello doesn't recognize my face in different conditions (lighting, with glasses).

I would like to add additional fingers for fingerprint recognition.

Resolution

Improve Facial recognition (Windows Hello)

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Accounts
    1. If you don't see a left-hand sidebar with an Accounts section, maximize the window. You should see Accounts show up on the left side.
  3. Click on Sign-in options
  4. Select “Facial recognition (Windows Hello)”
  5. Click “Improve recognition” to retrain your face in different conditions (lighting, with glasses).

Improve Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello)

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Accounts
    1. If you don't see a left-hand sidebar with an Accounts section, maximize the window. You should see Accounts show up on the left side.
  3. Click on Sign-in options
  4. Select “Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello)”
  5. Click “Add a finger” and go through the setup process.

Note that while it is possible to add additional fingers, it is not possible to remove authentication for individual fingers (Removing fingerprint recognition will remove all set fingers).
