Environment
MiWorkspace, Windows 11
Issue
My Windows Hello doesn't recognize my face in different conditions (lighting, with glasses).
I would like to add additional fingers for fingerprint recognition.
Resolution
Improve Facial recognition (Windows Hello)
- Go to Settings
- Click on Accounts
- If you don't see a left-hand sidebar with an Accounts section, maximize the window. You should see Accounts show up on the left side.
- Click on Sign-in options
- Select “Facial recognition (Windows Hello)”
- Click “Improve recognition” to retrain your face in different conditions (lighting, with glasses).
Improve Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello)

- Click on Accounts
- If you don't see a left-hand sidebar with an Accounts section, maximize the window. You should see Accounts show up on the left side.
- Click on Sign-in options

Note that while it is possible to add additional fingers, it is not possible to remove authentication for individual fingers (Removing fingerprint recognition will remove all set fingers).
