How do I set up dual monitors?

Resolution

  1. Connect your displays.
    1. Plug both monitors into your docking station via (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, VGA, etc.) cables.
    2. Make sure they are powered on.
  2. Open Display Settings
    1. Right-click on your desktop → Display settings or
    2. Go to Settings System → Display
  3. Detect & arrange monitors
    1. Windows should auto-detect both screens.
      1. If it doesn’t, click Detect.
    2. Drag the numbered monitor icons to match the physical layout.
    3. Choose display mode.
  4. Under Multiple displays, choose:
    1. Extend → one large workspace across both monitors (most common)
    2. Duplicate → same content on both screens.
    3. Show only on 1/2 → disables one screen.
  5. Adjust resolution and orientation.
  6. Scroll to each monitor, select a resolution (usually “Recommended”).
  7. Select orientation (Landscape/Portrait if you have vertical monitors).
