How do I set up dual monitors?
Resolution
- Connect your displays.
- Plug both monitors into your docking station via (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, VGA, etc.) cables.
- Make sure they are powered on.
- Open Display Settings
- Right-click on your desktop → Display settings or
- Go to Settings System → Display
- Detect & arrange monitors
- Windows should auto-detect both screens.
- If it doesn’t, click Detect.
- Drag the numbered monitor icons to match the physical layout.
- Choose display mode.
- Under Multiple displays, choose:
- Extend → one large workspace across both monitors (most common)
- Duplicate → same content on both screens.
- Show only on 1/2 → disables one screen.
- Adjust resolution and orientation.
- Scroll to each monitor, select a resolution (usually “Recommended”).
- Select orientation (Landscape/Portrait if you have vertical monitors).
