Android User Having Difficulty Signing Into the Michigan App

Environment

Michigan App Version 8.6 and Version 8.7

Issue

You are already signed into your Android device with your non-UMICH email and are having difficulty signing into the Michigan App.

Resolution

The following steps allow you to add your U-M Google account to your device.

  1. Go to Android phone Settings > Accounts* > Add account.
  2. At the weblogin page, use your Uniqname and your password.
  3. Tap the Log In button. 

*The Accounts label might be different between different Android devices.

Additional Information

Using your U-M Google account (uniqname@umich.edu) allows you to view your class schedule, to save your dining hall preferences, and to save your bus routes.
